Philippe LeBlanc, 70, died Sunday (28 mars) at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, following a lengthy illness. Born in Memramcook East, he was a son of the late Edouard and Marie Blanche (Dupuis) LeBlanc.

He was a retired CNR employee. He attended Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Memramcook East. His wife, the former Dora Dupuis, died in 1979.

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. E. Ulysse Richard (Catherine), and Mrs. Alphée Maillet (Joanne), both of Fitchburg, Mass., Mrs. Robert Gautreau (Lauraine), Pré-d'en-Haut and Mrs. Oscar Melanson (Marie Blanche), Moncton; five sons, Alex, Adrice, Charles-Edouard and Hector, all of Memramcook East, and Jacques, Cap-Pelé; six brothers, Yvet, Phillias, Camille, Alvin and George, all of Memramcook East; 34 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The body will be at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30 p.m. today from Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East.
